MOT

Everyone who uses a vehicle on the road must keep it in a roadworthy condition. The MOT test checks that vehicles meet road safety and environmental standards. The first MOT test for a vehicle is required when it’s three years old. There are different rules if it’s used as a taxi.

We don't carry out the test on site, but prepare your vehicle before transporting it to and from the testing facility. We are able to carry out all work needed to ensure your car passes the test and offer a free re-test should any work be carried out if your vehicle fails.

Our MOT service is just £50 (plus VAT).

Will it damage the engine?

NO, modern engines are designed to cope with greater power output than standard. The only time we would advise against, is if your engine/turbo is in poor condition.

More power, torque & better fuel economy?

YES, with more torque available lower in the rev range fewer gear changes and smaller throttle openings are required to give the desired performance.
